Refund Policy

We want you to be confident in your purchase of PDF Genius. This Refund Policy explains when you are eligible for a refund and how to request one. It applies to all paid PDF Genius subscriptions purchased directly from us or through our authorized payment processors.

1. 7-day money-back guarantee

If you are not satisfied with your first paid subscription, you may request a full refund within 7 days of the initial charge. This applies to your first purchase of any plan (monthly or annual) and is offered once per customer.

2. Annual plans

Annual subscriptions are eligible for a pro-rated refund within 14 days of renewal, provided usage during that period has not exceeded the equivalent of one month of plan limits. Outside this window, annual plans are non-refundable but remain active until the end of the billing period.

3. Monthly plans

Monthly plans are billed in advance and are non-refundable after the 7-day guarantee window has passed. You may cancel at any time from your Billing page; cancellation stops future renewals and keeps your plan active until the end of the current period.

4. Non-refundable cases

  • Requests made after the windows described above.
  • Accounts terminated by us for violation of the Terms of Service.
  • Charges older than 60 days at the time the refund is requested.
  • Add-on credits or one-time purchases that have already been consumed.

5. How to request a refund

Email support@pdfgeniusapp.com from the address on your PDF Genius account and include:

  • Your account email
  • The date of the charge and the last 4 digits of the card used (or PayPal/processor reference)
  • A brief reason for the refund (optional, but helps us improve)

We respond to refund requests within 1 business dayand approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card network.

6. Statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable consumer rights you may have under applicable law (including the EU/UK 14-day right of withdrawal for digital services that have not been used).
